Willie Faloon
Willie Faloon is a powerhouse backrow player, Willie is a ball winning flanker. A traditional openside, his skill set is extensive. Willie is fast and agressive, a big hitter in the tackle which often results in turnover ball. Willie Faloon is proficient at sealing off ruck ball, ensuring quality possession at the breakdown as well as slowing down opposition attacking ball. His handling skills are impressive and he has the ability to read a game extremely well putting himself in the right place at the right time.
A Schools Cup winner with The Royal School Armagh, Willie Faloon distinguished himself at Ulster and Irish Schools level progressing into the Ulster Academy in 2005. While in the Academy Willie flourished with his club side Ballynahinch playing a key role in their AIB League and Cup winning 2008/09 campaigns. As a result selection for the Ulster A team followed.
Willie Faloon's first cap for the senior Ulster side came against Bath in August 2008 which resulted in a fulltime contract with Ulster for season 2009/10.
Willie Faloon's performances in the Ulster jersey led to his selection for the Ireland Wolfhounds angainst Scotland A in 2011.
