Tommy Bowe An impressive physical specimen Tommy's power and pace combined with his intuitive running lines make him one of the most lethal finishers in Irish rugby. His Gaelic background has equipped him with the instinctive aerial skills required for both offensive and defensive situations. His well rounded skill set lends versatility to Tommy's game, evidenced by the fact he represented Ulster at wing, fullback and center.
Tommy became the first Monaghan man to play for Ulster in 80 years when he made his debut against Connacht in 2004 scoring a try to mark the occassion. A feat he repeated on his Irish debut as a twenty year old against the USA in November 2004 and again on his Lions debut against the Royal XV in 2009.
Tommy's 10 tries in 17 games helped Ulster claim the Celtic League title in 2006.
Putting the disappointment of non selection for the 2007 RWC Irish squad behing him Tommy's 2007/08 award winning season catipulted him back into the Irish starting XV for the 2008 RBS Six Nations tournament, where he restablished himself as Ireland's first choice wing.
Tommy joined the Ospreys for season 2008/09.
Tommy played a key role in Ireland's Grand Slam winning RBS Six Nations campaign and his form for club and country lead to his selection for the British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa
