Tommy Bowe is an impressive physical specimen, his power and pace combined with his intuitive running lines make him one of the most lethal finishers in world rugby. His well rounded skill set lends versatility to Tommy's game, evidenced by the fact he can switch comfortably between wing, fullback and center for club and country.
Tommy Bowe became the first Monaghan man to play for Ulster in 80 years when he made his debut against Connacht in 2004, scoring a try to mark the occassion. A feat he repeated on his Irish debut as a twenty year old against the USA in November 2004 and again on his Lions debut against the Royal XV in 2009.
Tommy Bowe's 10 tries in 17 games helped Ulster claim the Celtic League title in 2006.
Putting the disappointment of non-selection for the 2007 RWC Irish squad behind him Tommy Bowe's 2007/08 award winning season catipulted him back into the Irish starting XV for the 2008 RBS Six Nations tournament, where he restablished himself as Ireland's first choice wing.
Tommy Bowe joined the Ospreys in 2008 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the world's top rugby players. A standout for Ireland in their 2009 Grand Slam winning Six Nations campaign, he carried this form into the 2009 B & I Lions tour where he starred at wing and centre.
