Tom Court Born and rasied in Australia, Tom has arrived at the elite level of rugby union via a very untraditional route. A three times Australian Universities shot put champion and Olympic triallist, Tom's immense strength, power and speed honed by his rigorous shot put training regime made his transition into an international level prop possible.

A late convert to the game at 24 years of age, Tom's achievements in such a short space of time are truly remarkable. After representing Queensland University in the Brisbane Club Premiership he was quickly seconded to the 2004/05 Queensland Red's Super 14 Squad. His progress was fast tracked by a stint with New Zealand NPC side Manawatu and then courtesy of his Irish heritage he was selected to represent Ireland A at the 2006 Churchill Cup en route to Ulster Rugby.

Tom's form for Ulster in 2008/09 lead to his selection for Ireland in every matchday squad of the Grand Slam winning 2009 Six Nations campaign, where he made his Irish debut against Italy.

An outstanding physical specimen, Tom has played the majority of his short rugby career at Tighthead prop, but has demonstrated his versatility by successfully playing regularly for both Ulster and Ireland at Loosehead. A devastating scrummager and powerful lineout lifter his blistering pace for such a big man allow him to contribute in many areas of the game outside of the set piece.

Tom's laid back off the pitch persona and intellect make him an unobtrusive, yet popular squad member and with only five years experience in rugby, a proven training ethic and incredible physical attributes the possibilities are limitless.
