Tim Barker is an athletic and powerful lock with the ability to carry the ball and make the hard yards going forward.
Tim Barker combines good handling skills with mobility around the pitch and his impressive physical size make him a destructive force at the breakdown and in defence. An accomplished jumper at the front of the lineout his backrow experience allows him to be equally at ease at the back of the lineout.
Tim Barker represented Ireland at U18, U19 and U21 level the Dungannon second row made his Ulster debut against Connacht in 2004 before moving to Glasgow for a year where he played an integral role in Glasgows Celtic League and Heineken Cup campaigns.
Tim Barker returned to Ulster at the start of the 2006/07 season and became an integral part of Mark McCall's squad playing in all but two of Ulster's 26 competitive matches enhancing his growing reputation in the game.
After a productive spell at Castres Tim Barker re-joined Glasgow on a two year contract starting season 2008/09.
