Stephen Ferris A player with incredible physical attributes, Stephen is raw power and physical aggression personified.

Stephen's combination of physical size, power and searing pace has seen him quickly develop into one of Ulster and Ireland's most destructive ball carriers. A rare breed of back rower his explosiveness is matched by an insatiable appetite for work in offense and defence. His confrontational defensive mindset and abbrasive close quarter rucking and mauling skills make Stephen equally effective without ball in hand. His physical prowess allows Stephen to be equally effective in any of the  three back row positions.

Scoring five tries in five appearances at the 2005 U'21 RWC shot Stephen to prominence and earned him an Ulster development contract. A full contract for the Province immediately followed as did his Ireland debut against the Pacific Islands in November 2006 and a place in the competitive backrow in Ireland's RWC squad.

Stephen's meteoric rise continued as he played a central part in Ireland's Grand Slam winning 2009 Six Nations campaign which in turn lead to selection for the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa.
