Paul Marshall
After a distinguished schoolboy and Irish age group representative career Paul Marshall made his senior Ulster Rugby debut at the age of 20 against Cardiff in 2006. A dedicated professional in his approach to training and playing he possesses a strong work ethic.
From the base of scrums, rucks and mauls Paul Marshall’s impressive turn of pace and ability to step of either foot poses a real attacking threat. His intuitive game appreciation skills and quality service from the ground that is both quick and accurate, combine with his all round kicking skills and trade mark cover defence tackles to complete an impressive skill set.
Paul Marshall's impressive form in season 2007/08 led to his sellection for the Ireland team in the Churchill Cup 2008.
With limited opportunities as understudy to Ruan Pienaar, Paul Marshall has impressed every time on the pitch, keeping the South African under pressure for the Ulster number 9 jersey. |
