Paddy Wallace A naturally gifted footballer, Paddy's general rugby skill set is complete; he possesses a dynamic side step off either foot, impressive accelaration, accurate and creative distribution skills, strong defensive qualities and is an accomplished kicker of the ball both out of hand and at goal.
This well rounded skill set allows Paddy the versatility to play at fullback and centre when required, positions he has filled for Ulster with considerable success.
A natural inside back, his attacking mindset and preference to take the ball flat to the line combined with his arsenal of evasive skills and equally impressive passing skills make him a constant threat to opposition defences.
Season 2008/09 saw Paddy concentrate on the inside centre position with considerable success. He forced his way into the 12 shirt during the 2008 Autumn international series and started in three of Ireland's games in the 2009 RBS Six Nations tournament.
