Nigel Brady
Nigel Brady's work ethic and attitude to training would complement the culture of any rugby squad. From a family with a farming background Nigel is honest, hardworking and well respected within the Ulster Squad. This respect from teammates has naturally progressed to a position of leadership in the form of captaincy for his home province Ulster. Educated at Royal School Dungannon, Nigel started at prop before moving to the centre of the front row.
Nigel Brady's possesses all the attributes required for a hooker to compete in the modern game. His accurate throwing into the lineout is complemented by his tough and uncompromising attitude at scrum time. As well as excelling in the set piece Nigel is very comfortable with ball in hand and destructive at the breakdown.
After helping his home town club beat Cork Con in the All Ireland final, Nigel Brady's made his Ulster debut against Munster in 2003 and has become a regular member of Ulster Rugby's match day squad.
Nigel Brady's consistant performances in the Ulster jersey were rewarded with his selection for the Ireland Wolfhounds against Scotland A in 2010. |
