Niall Ronan is an instinctive footballer with natural ability Niall first came to prominence as one of Ireland’s star performers on the IRB sevens circuit in 2005.
Niall Ronan has pace, possesses outstanding handling and distribution skills and as you would expect from an openside flanker is extremely proficient at the breakdown.
Having made his way to the Leinster side via the youth pathway rather than the more familiar schools route Niall Ronan is no stranger to hard work.
Niall Ronan joined Munster at the start of season 2007/08 and enjoyed instant success with Munster winning the 2008 Heineken Cup. Niall Ronan has established himself as regular in the Munster team and his eye catching performances in the Heineken Cup and Magners League 2008/09 season caught the attention of the national management and he was selected for his Irish debut against Canada on the 2009 Irish tour of North America.
Niall Ronan's contribution in a Munster jersey earned him a place in the Irish side that was victorious in the Churchill Cup in 2009.
Nial Ronan won his second Magners League winning medal when Munster defeated Leinster in the final in 2011. |
