Niall Annett
Niall Annett announced himself on the Ulster Rugby scene when he he captained his former school Methodist College, to Schools Cup glory in 2009.
Niall Annett's natural leadership skills were rewarded when he captained both Ulster and Irish schools in 2009 and he was a key, member of the Ireland U20 side that won the 6 Nations Championship in 2010 and competed in the 2010 RWC in Argentina, captaining the team in it's final game. Niall Annett was again selected as the captain for Ireland U20 team that competed in the 2011 Junior RWC in Italy.
Niall Annett places huge importance on his set piece contribution. This emphasis is evident in his training regime where he works extremely hard to perfect his lineout throws and technical aspects of scrummaging. He combine a high workrate with effective ruck and maul technique and relishes the chance to play with ball in hand.
