Cornerflag is pleased to announce the signing of Niall O'Connor. Niall, a member of the Ulster Academy was invited to join the senior Ulster Rugby squad for pre season training, his impressive training form coupled with the unavailability of Paddy Wallace and David Humphreys saw Niall feature in Ulster Rugby's pre season fixtures against Leeds & Gloucester.

Such was his impact he was handed the coveted Ulster number 10 jersey for Ulster's opening fixture of the Magners League against the Ospreys at Ravenhill. His nerveless debut performance on the night which included a match winning 79th minute

penalty kick and Man of the Match award announced his arrival on the provincial rugby scene. An accurate and prodigious kicker of the ball Niall looks to have a bright future in the game.
