Neil McComb
Neil is a powerful second row with the ability to carry the ball and make the hard yards going forward.
He possesses all the attributes required to be a top quality second row, combining good handling skills with athleticism around the pitch. Neil is an accomplished jumper at the front and middle of the lineout, and the fact that he has captained a number of successful sides in his career makes him an asset to any pack of forwards.
Neil represented Ulster and Ireland at Schools, U18, U19 and U21 level and captained the Campbell College side that lifted the schools cup in 2002.
The 2003 U21 RWC in Scotland was another highlight for Neil, the Irish team losing out to a strong New Zealand side in the final.
2009 was Neil's breakthrough season with Ulster. He moved from a Development to a Full-Time contract and made his senior Ulster debut in both the Magners League against Edinburgh, and Heineken Cup against Bath. |
