Michael McComish
Michael is an extremely talented sportsman, having represented Ireland Schools in cricket and rugby.
He is a player of tremendous athletic ability; a strong ball carrier, capable of beating a man and offloading in the tackle situation with highly developed breakdown skills. Michael rose to prominence whilst representing Ireland on the IRB 7’s circuit.
His size, speed and proficiency at the breakdown allow him to be equally effective in any of the three-backrow positions.
Three seasons in the English National Division One competition spent developing his game paid dividends for Michael when he secured a two year contract for Connacht in 2009. |
