Kevin McLaughlin
Kevin McLaughlin has represented Leinster and Ireland at both schools and U21 level. His development continued through the Leinster "A" system, culminating in his first senior appearance for Leinster in 2007.
Kevin McLaughlin's height and explosive jumping ability make him a potent lineout option, his game in the loose is built around a combination of explosive ball carrying, running intelligent support lines and cleaning out rucks. The breadth of his skill set allow him to comfortably interchange between six and eight.
After Kevin McLaughlin's senior debut he endured a couple of frustrating, injury hampered seasons. He emerged from exile with some dazzling performance at the start of season 2009/10 and quickly cemented his starting spot in Leinster's starting XV. So potent were Kevin McLaughlin's performances in the blue of Leinster he earned a call up to the Irish senior team and achieved his first cap against Italy in the 2010 Six Nations.
In 2011 Kevin McLaughlin claimed his second Heinekin Cup winners medal when Leinster defeated Northampton in the final at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
