John Lyne A product of the Irish Rugby development pathway; having represented Ireland at schools, U19 and U21 level, John is developing into an exiting prospect.
Voted Leinster’s young player of the year in 2003, his set piece proficiency led to him making his senior debut for Leinster at age 22. His junior days as a Gaelic footballer have equipped him with natural footballing ability and handling skills that he uses to good effect in the loose. Strength in the set piece is his key asset, a strong powerful scrummager and knowledgable lineout operator.
After his selection in the Ireland A team for the 2007 Churchill Cup John joined Connacht for season 07/08
