James McKinney
James McKinney had a distinguished schools career, playing out half for Campbell College and representing Ulster and Irish Schools.
Progression into the Ulster Rugby Academy followed, as did selection for the Ulster Ravens, playing in the semi-final of the British and Irish Cup 2009/10 against Munster "A" at Thomond Park, Limerick.
James McKinney was one of a few players who represented Ireland U20's in consecuitive world cups, the 2010 RWC in Argentina and the 2011 RWC in Italy.
During the 2010 tour James illustrated his accuracy from the kicking tee with an 83% strike rate. James McKinney's kicking out of hand is both accurate and long, and his skills with the boot are augmented with a wide selection of penetrative chips and grubber kicks.
