A natural kicker of the ball, Ian Porter's mastery of this skill has manifested itself in a vast array of tactical kicks.
Ian Porter's goalkicking ability is just as developed. He was the designated goalkicker for his Irish U20 team landing a memorable last minute penalty to win the match against Italy at the IRB Junior World Championships.
After a very short time on a development contract with Ulster Ian Porter's attitude and ability earned him an upgraded full time contract with Ulster in 2010.
