Darren Cave
Darren Cave is a product of the Ulster Academy, he shot to prominence as a member of Ireland's U20 Grand Slam winning team of 2007. He made an accomplished Ireland "A" debut in the same season as he made his Ulster senior debut vs The Borders.
His form in Ulster's 2008/09 pre season fixtures saw Darren Cave cement his position as Ulster's starting outside center and his meteoric rise to prominence has been justified by his eye catching performances for both Ulster and Ireland "A".
Quick and explosive, Darren Cave has the ability to puncture opposition defences with his well timed runs, physical size and well developed evasive skills.
Darren Cave's obvious potential was realised in the shape of an Irish cap against Canada in 2009. His maturity is further evidenced in his leadership role within the Ulster back division. |
