Anton Van Zyl

While lock Anton Van Zyl has played a large portion of his professional career in Johannesburg, he was actually born and raised in Cape Town.

Van Zyl returned to Province before the 2009 ABSA Currie Cup season and immediately made an impact with his strong running, lineout play and leadership on the field.

Anton's presence was an important cog in the Province pack's improvement during the campaign. After experiencing Super rugby with the Lions, Anton will be looking forward to his Super 14 debut for his home team in 2010.
