Amy Davis Amy comes from a sporting family with both siblings having representative honours in rugby and athletics. Amy came into rugby from an athletics background having represented Irish Universities, Irish Schools and Northern Ireland.
Weaned on Rugby from an early age having watched her older brother Johnny Davis play for Irish schools and Ulster, Amy's transition into the game of rugby has been seamless.
Amy's athletic ability is evident in the way she plays, her strength and speed are devastating and enable her to make line breaks and invasive runs through club, provincial and international defences.
Amy's ambition to succeed in the game and develop her already impressive rugby skill set saw her make the move to Blackrock RFC in 2008. Amy’s aim for the 2009/10 session is to build upon the international rugby experience gained in the last two seasons, and gain selection in the Irish team for the Women's Rugby World Cup in 2010.
