Adam Macklin Adam announced himself on the Ulster Rugby scene with a sequence of expolsive performances for his former school Methodist College, who he captained to Schools Cup glory as a barnstorming number eight.
Adam was immediately elevated to the Ulster Rugby Academy where his immense strength lead to a positional switch to tighthead prop. Adam is working hard on learning the trade at tight head prop and the switch has already proved successful as Adam was selected at tighthead for the Ulster A team and the Irish U20's team for the World Cup in Japan 2009.
His raw power alligned with the mobility and rugby skills he learnt by playing in the backrow in his formative years identify Adam as a very exciting prospect for the future
