Adam Macklin announced himself on the Ulster Rugby scene with a sequence of expolsive performances for his former school Methodist College, who he captained to Schools Cup glory as a barnstorming number eight.
Adam Macklin was immediately elevated to the Ulster Rugby Academy where his immense strength lead to a positional switch to tighthead prop. This switch is already reaping dividends, evidenced by Adam's senior Ulster debut at tighthead vs Bath at Ravenhill in pre season 2010.
