Adam D'Arcy
Adam, hailing from the Manly area of Sydney, Australia, joined Ulster Rugby on a one-year contract in September 2010.
After an excellent outing playing at fullback against Leeds in the final pre-season friendly of the 2010-11 season, Adam was awarded his first competitive start for Ulster against Ospreys in the league opener.
Possessing an outstanding counter-attacking game, Adam’s first instinct is to run, invariably causing problems for the opposition defence. His natural running game, pace and rugby awareness result in Adam cutting wonderful lines finding gaps where others don’t.
To cap it all off, Adam is extremely assured under the high ball, providing solidity at the back and confidence to his teammates.
After a very successful debut season, Adam picked up ‘Most Improved Player of the Year’ at the 2011 Ulster Rugby Awards Dinner. |
